Ed Rappleye started his career at the State of Utah around 2005 within the Division of Facilities Construction and Management, spending his first 14 years as a Journey Maintenance Specialist and then 5 years as a Facility Supervisor at the Provo Regional Center in Provo, Utah.  Ed’s skillset seemingly knows no bounds, with high degrees of aptitude in all areas of our facilities and operations therein.  Ed is also a “man of the people”, winning the hearts of all those who get to know him.  Ed completed four years of trade school in electrical.  While he was with DFCM he attended their facilities maintenance programs.

In his new role on the Loss Control Team for the Division of Risk Management, Ed will be using these skills for the betterment of all Agencies and State-Insured Entities, conducting inspections and on-site analysis of insured assets far and wide.  These inspections will go on to serve as the foundation for improvement plans, cost savings initiatives, and loss prevention efforts.

Ed was born and raised here in Utah.  He has a love for vintage Volkswagen and enjoys the outdoors with his family.

We are excited to have Ed as a part of the team and look forward to tapping into his experience!
